Seeking weatherstripping advice

Hello all,I am currently replacing all the weatherstripping on my windows. For those who have gone through this process, which pieces did you use adhesive on and which pieces did you put together without adhesive? The vent window seems like it might not need it but the channels with the mohair would. Any input on this whole process would be greatly appreciated. Getting this all back together the correct way seems easier said than done. Thanks in advance!PhilSee More

Question for the Lowering Spring crowd

Hi,For anyone who has lowered the car using lowering springs...can we just use the standard shock/struts (gabriel 82109/82125 is what I have) or do I need to upgrade to a more robust set?Right now I'm looking at using 2" lowering springs from OPGI. Wanted to go lower but concerned 3" might be too much for the ride. Any input greatly appreciated. I have read all the threads pretty thoroughly but didn't seem to find the answer to this particular question. Thanks a bunch!Phil See More

Fuel questions

Hi there everyone, My name is Phil and I'm new here. I reckon I'll be asking lots of questions from the geniuses here and this is my first. To begin, Yes, I do indeed have the shop manual and the master parts list. I'm excited to finally have another Cadillac to work on but found myself with a sort of Frankenstein, neglected girl. My previous was a 72 CDV and I've always loved the 64. I ended up with a 63 Convertible which I love, even with all her baggage. Here goes.....I'm replacing the fuel…See More

Finally got around to cleaning and re-lubricating the seat transmission. Now, it works flawlessly

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
