Hi Everybody,
In the attached JPEG is a scratch I picked up in October 2016 on one of the last rides of the season by a truck going the opposite way on a 2 lane road. You would have thought someone hurt my kids. Anyway, it is on the front drivers front fender above the trim piece. Any ideas on how to make it look respectable without painting the entire fender?

sand to feather the edges. Color match the paint, and lay down some primer and paint with a air gun.
Thanks Russ
Hi Tony the scratch is 1/2 inch long 1/8in wide
Hi Tom If you go to a good auto paint supplier they should have a camera that they put up against the exsiting paint and take a picture which they can match the color on your car. You could take them a fender skirt if easier and they can mix a small sample for you to touch up your scratch. I did this on a fender skirt and it matched amazingly well. Try it on a sample first. Good luck.

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
