Hi everyone.
Nice to be back here.
For anyone who doesn't know me yet, I'm Maurice and I live in Papendrecht which is located in the Netherlands in the province of South Holland. I am the proud owner my Cadillac sedan DeVille for 27 years.
It has always driven around in Annapolis Maryland. The Cadillac was bought by an acquaintance of mine at the Hershey car show. When the car arrived in the Netherlands, my cousin bought it. He already had a few classic American cars. During a national holiday here in the Netherlands, I was allowed to drive his Oldsmobile Delta 88 royal convertible. On that day, I got infected with the American car virus. So I started working 6 days a week and didn't go out with friends anymore. It was set in stone. I wanted to buy that Cadillac from my cousin. After a year, it was time: I finally had the money together. After about 2 years of saving, I was finally able to have the car repainted. This had already been done in America, but it had been repainted over the original paint. The paint was completely cracked. This is now 25 years ago and the car still looks super nice. some small spots, but we have those after 25 years too. In 2015 I started a search for all '63ers in the Netherlands. I have now found about 40. In the meantime I have also created a group for it and expanded it to Belgium. The plan is to organize a meeting again this year and otherwise next year.
Hi Maurice! Welcome back to the 63/64 Cadillac Chapter & Website. Tell some of these newer members about your 63 Caddy and your history with it when you get a chance! Jason.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
