Clock Operation - Chattering contacts points

Trying to work on the clock out of my 64. When I put a charge to it, the contact points chatter back and forth, sounding like a doorbell buzzer. I don't see the gears moving and the points never snap back. Has anyone experienced this? Ted

Servicing the dashboard clock

I found an old article I had printed years back on servicing our dash clocks. The article states to remove the three screws around the perimeter of the bezel and then the nut in the back. The back of my clock has a reddish washer (right in photo) that is pressed into the hole where the power cord prong extends. How do I get this out to clean the inside of the clock? Am I missing something? …

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
