1963/64 Cadillac Website - Winner 2013 CLC Best Website Award

I was just scanning through my online Edition of the October Self Starter, and reading through the Personal and Car awards and though I would share with our Non-CLC website members. Reading the website award section, I was again filled with pride to have myself and our website recognized with this prestigious national award.

I had previously posted…

Website Help Topic: Page Selection at Bottom of Multi-Page Posts

When a certain number of replies are posted on a Message Blog or other thread it is added to another page and if you are unfamilar with how this works, might wonder what happened to your reply.

If you scroll down to the bottom of a post that is more than one page long you will see page selection options at bottom left and bottom right.  On bottom left, you can click Next to go to next page, or click on the specific page #, or enter the the page number and go to it over on the lower…

New "Parts Suppliers" Page and Tab Created

I just posted a new Parts Suppliers page and created a new tab up top bottom right in our website header section.   I have a list from the old site I will start copying in at some point as I verify they are still valid but can add others anytime. I need the URL link to your page. If it is a Ning.com personal page I can make it a sub-tab so that it pulls up when you hover over the 'Parts Suppliers' tab.

Member Cars to Spotlight

Hello All,

I've got a good batch of your cars picked out to spotlight in the coming weeks and invite others to submit their cars to spotlight.

If you would like your car spotlighted one week you can email me a picture or a link back to it, or just tag it as 'tospotlight' on the specific picture you want me to use. I've been tagging cars I've set aside this way but was…

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
