Event Description

- Grand National 1963/64 Chapter Meet-Up
WHEN: Wednesday, June 3, from 7-9 pm casual come as you can.

WHERE
: Carolina B Meeting Room at Embassy Suites Host Hotel, Concord, NC

FORMAT: This year we will have a 3-Round contest for prizes, starting with a  "Name that Part" round, followed by a "Flat Rate" round, followed by a "Surprise" final round. Instead of lugging a bunch of prizes to the GN, I have decided to give out gift certificates to my parts business Classic Cadillac Parts totaling $350.

Prizes:
- (10) $25 gift certificates for Classic Cadillac Parts with 5 given out in round 1 and 5 given out in round 2.
- (1) $100 Grand Prize gift certificate for Classic Cadillac Parts.

Roundtable Discussion:
Between the 1st and 2nd round we will have our usual round-table discussion and go over other topics yet TBD. I thought we would change it up this year and instead of doing a per chance lottery drawing, make you guys and gals work for it.

Meet-Up Notes:
- Bingos is being held at the exact same time as our meeting  on Wednesday, 7-9pm.  If you will be attending Bingo perhaps you can pop put and come over and say hello to everyone!

- We need to wrap up by 9pm.  I have an IT Committee meeting in the same room starting at 9pm, and will need to end the meeting by 9pm.  Last year we reserved 3 years and wrapped up within a couple hours anyway.

I look forward to seeing many of you in just over a week!!

Jason.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
