Tony,
The leather came from SMS Auto Fabrics. It's a little pricey, but the leather and hole patters and shapes are perfect. (I believe that SMS has some of the the original Cadillac leather dies. It sure looks like it). After placing the order, which you have to pay in advance, I received my leather in about 2 months.
I don't know who the upholsterer is as he was subcontracted through my body shop. But, I will find out and let you know.
As an aside, I'm a bit worried about scratching up the leather (my wife has two miniature schnauzers that must go everywhere with her and their nails will do terrible damage to the glove leather). Do you have any advice on clear plastic seat covers? (I can't believe I even have to ask that question..but you pick your battles. ;-)
Cadillac had a clear cover as an option in 1964, but of course NOS/OEM covers would almost certainly not be serviceable, if you can even find one.

Good point about who I would be saving the interior for...the next owner? As I've instructed my wife, there will be no next owner as I intend to be buried in my Deville! (I know that it's selfish to deprive someone of enjoying the car down the road, but if I'm going to Heaven (or Hell, as the case may be), I'm goin' there in style!)
Mike
Very Nice!
How much did that run you altogether if you don't mind my asking? Thanks!

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…
