All,I can’t believe I have to ask for help again. I really thought I was done with repairs. I did drive my 63 Eldorado a couple of times on side roads and all was good. last week I took it out bc it was not as hot. 45min Interstate, a short break and then about 15min back roads with a bit stop and go. And all of a sudden the transmission is acting up again. Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
