I hope our US members had a great Thanksgiving and all members are ready for the holiday season.
You probably noticed we went back to a more basic header on the website (in desktop mode). I had really wanted to rotate a member 63/64 member car each month but it was really hard to use the building tools and get everything sized and presented so it looked half-way decent. The way you have to insert a picture an exact size (width, height, resolution) made it very difficult so for now I have dropped and punted and went back to a more basic header! I may try something different later.
I had the biggest batch of cadmium plated fasteners (499 pounds!) delivered to my door step on Nov 26, the fastest they have ever turned around a batch. I usually deliver 250 to 350 lbs and they are completed in 3 to 5 months. The company does this as fill in work for me and the shop manager said they basically freed up and jumped on my last very large batch. It was dropped off on Oct 28 and delivered to on Nov 26. The kicker is it is a 2 hr drive from Garner/Raleigh to Winston Salem each way and they delivered for free. As my daddy use to say "You can't beat that with a stick!" Below is a picture of all the gold bling just inside my garage, then a picture of the small stuff (2 totes worth) set up on table just tonight. My wife Cheryl, will sort it and I I will put in containers and I will then put it where it ends up. This will large batch will probably take a couple months to go through everything! Oh, My total haul of cad plated stuff is now at 5305 lb spanning 14 batches starting January 2021.
I also want to get back under Dino and continue the cleanup and restoration of the under carriage. I got that one section done and every time I look under a see that section and go "That looks great", but then see the rest of the undercarriage and go "That looks bad! LOL
I am also looking forward to the CLC Winter Reunion and Board Meetings in Orlando. It officially runs Jan 7 to 10, but I will be there Jan 5-10. More on that later.
I think our last Chapter Zoom meet-up was one of the best attended ever. At almost 2 1/2hrs it was definitely the longest, but watched many members hang in there listening intently and taking in the detailed discussions and engaging with others ... which is what they about.
OK. Let me go sort this Cadillac Bling!

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
