My trip spin knob or where it is connected is stripped. I can reset it but it takes work. Any suggestions on repair or replace? I can't find it in the shop manual. 64 DeVille Convertible.

It is a simple cable that mounts to the dash lip at bottom and threads into the back of the speedometer unit.
The rubber reset knob is often cracked or missing making it hard to turn the cable. You can get the rubber slip on reset knob from places like Caddy Daddy. If you think your cable is bad I have plenty for $20 ($15 for Chapter Members) + $10 s/h to US destinations.
Jason.
Thanks Jason. I replaced the reset knob and its still spinning. So it must be the cable. I'll paypal you the $25.00. The wiper arms look great I thought I could get the wipers local but nobody carries them. I see OPG has them.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
