64 Brakes

Hi,It's time to do a brake job on my Fleetwood. When I imported my car from the US to Canada I had to have my car safety inspected before I could license it in the Privince of BC. After the inspection the mechanic told me that the brakes had never been done. My car is about to hit 59,000 miles. I think I will only need cylinders, shoes, and hoses. There are many parts providers so my question is........Who offers the best quality parts and/or should I be searching certain brands? Please let me…See More

Clock Removal

Hello Everyone,I tried to remove my clock today and couldn't seem to get it to rotate more than a 16th to an 8th of an inch. I followed the instuctions in the manual (counterclockwise approximately 60*). Maybe I don't have enough strength for that sort of thing anymore. I'm wondering how much torgue it takes to get it to rotate out. I looked at some pictures and have an idea of how the clock is attached to the bezel, I also noticed that the bezel is attached to the cluster frame by only 2…See More

"If it were my car, I would buy a newer version of the originals. Better output and you know it is new or rebuilt.   Finding a NOS would be near impossible and it will have 60 year old seals."

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
