63 cadillac jetaway filler tube leak

Hello Everyone once again I am struggling with transmission leak. Here is the problem, the tube is mounted to the exhaust manifold and upon inspection and trying to remove that bolt I fear it breaking into the block and opening a world of troubles. Without removing the filler tube, Is there any other way to replace that O ring or put some…

1963 Cadillac Upper Control Arm Bushings

Hi all, can anyone tell me, "how I can tell if I have the 1 1/2" or 1 7/16" upper control arm bushings on my car, while the bushing is on the car?" Mostly every auto parts place have 2 sizes listed, I hate to get the wrong part, but I also hate to take it apart and not have the new part ready to put on. I don't have the luxury of keeping the car apart for days. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated. Thank Jim

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
