Well, I took a gamble on this one as the outside cover is obviously poor to fair at best, but the pages are stated as nice. Hopefully the pages on the inside are nice as the seller indicated!
I have been getting nervous that I would not find a 1964 Dealer Data Book as we approach 2014 and the 50th Year Anniversary look that model year. As you know from the 1963 Dealer Data Book, which I have been pulling info out of and including in the newsletters, has a wealth of information. I have had the 63 Dealer Data Book for some time but the 1964 is hard to come by it seems! I've seen some asking for a flat out $250 and up but hoped I could get one a bit better priced. With the January newsletter just 2 months away and our spotlight on a "movie star" car, I wanted to have at least something on hand to work with.
Here's the link and a couple of pictures of the one I got off ebay:

1964 Dealer Data book arrived today and I'm very pleased. The pages inside are nice and that is actually what I'm after. As far as the outside it actually looks like it can be cleaned up somewhat!
Scans are going online here each months as I continue the 63 Data Book. I guess I have about 1/4th of it uploaded. Just pull the Literature drop down menu from header and go down to 1963 Dealer Data Book. I had hoped to have all pages scanned and uploaded by end of the year but may take a bit longer. I always like to go back and clarify, sharpen, color correct, and work on the scanned images a bit.

Hey! I’ve seen the 63/64 power booster and master cylinder combination has been covered very clearly. I’m in the process of replacing mine. I was hoping someone could give me insight on a specific…Continue

I meant to make this a priority over the winter and didn't get that far. I've tried to source all the parts individually, but that is a daunting task. Partly because I don't want to miss any…Continue

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
