February 2014 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter Newsletter Posted

I have just completed and posted the February 2014 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter newsletter to our Newsletter Page.  You can also access it by clicking on
 February 2014 Newsletter

This newsletter includes my director's message, chapter updates, and information on the CLC Museum and Research Center.

We also kick-of our year-long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 Cadillac, with a member spotlight of Rob Simon's 1964 Series 62 Sedan which was used in the movie 'X-Men: First Class'. We also include scans from the 1964 Cadillac Dealer Data Book and Brochure.

I hope to have the next newsletter out mid to late March.

Check out the February Newsletter if you have not already done so. I think spotlighted member Rob Simon, is the only chapter member that can say he has had Katniss Everdeen (aka Jennifer Lawrence) in the back seat of their Cadillac! Read about his movie car in the newsletter.

I will probably roll all pictures into the one album here on the main site.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
