I have tried to keep at least 2 bays in my 3 bay garage open and still get to all of my tools, packing materials and parts I keep in the main downstairs garage area. I have given up on parking a 3rd car in there, and instead of just keeping things stacked in the 3rd bay, decided it was time to get some decent shelving. I had built a 4' x 6' work table some time and also store items under it, but it was not doing the job alone!
I looked around and found a commercial grade 2' x 6.5' x 6.5' steel shelving with an 8000 lb capacity (2000 lb per shelf) sold at Home Depot to be my best option. I also decided to buy 4 of them and bolt 2 together to make a 4' wide shelf to butt up to the 4' x 6' table on each end. In my two main parts sheds I had built heavy duty wood shelving but that was time consuming and these are easy to take down and transport as needed.
I have posted pictures of the shelf below. I paid $179 each for them back on Oct 11, but looks like HD has raised the price up to $196. Click Here for a link to check them out if interested in really decent HD shelving.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
