Happy Weekend All!  I've been busy like the rest of you but so glad we have the website in place and starting to take shape. I really like the way the site works with the smartphones which allows me to get to the site more often from work and on the road. I picked up my iPhone 5 today with the 4G LTE and know I will definitely be here more often now!

Upcoming club and Caddy events for me include a strip down to Winter Haven, FL next Thursda to pick up a parts car, driving my Coupe DeVille in the Garner Fireman's Day Parade and the Carolina Collector's Auto Fest in November. For the Chapter I'll need to get started on the October Newsletter (I NEED ARTICLES!!), and of course continue to work on the website. I've taken a breather the last couple of weeks as we let thing "settle in".  I was a bit worried when Multiply announced they were going to shut the websites down, but was also optimistic as they were "stuck in the mud" in terms of moving forward. They were a Huge Leap forward from the old MSN sites (and really stuck in the Mud sites like Yahoo), but they were making no advances as the rest of the internet apps were moving forward.

Just rambling a bit here, but just wanted to pop in and say hello, and thank everyone for supporting the new site and hope everyone has a great Fall Season (which starts tomorrow for us in the Northern Hemisphere...Spring for you guys Down Under) and to encourage everyone to come to the site and jump in and make yourself at home!

Jason.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
