Traveling to Orlando, FL Area Sept 27 for Anyone Needing Large Parts Delivered

On Thursday, Sept 27 I will be heading down I-95 through NC, SC, and Florida, and across I-4 past Orlando to Winter Haven to pick up a a 63 Coupe Deville Parts car.  The plan is to return on Saturday Sept 29.

As most of you that have dealt with me know, I usually do not deliver large parts and its up to you to "come and get" or to arrange with a shipper.

If you need a hood, windshield, doors, transmission, engine, are other large, heavy items I will have an open car hauler on the way down and can meet up with anyone near I-95 or I-40.  Both the hood and trunk lid off the 64 convertible I'm parting out is absolutely nice and still available. I've got at least a dozen Turbo Hydrmatics at $150 a pop, that were running/driving when removed and a couple of 3.21 standard rear ends.  If you need front suspension items I've got a ton of that stuff not to mention literally thousands of parts from 38 parts cars.

If you need something and are somewhere along the way between Raleigh, NC area and Orlando Florida give me a shout at jasonedge@nc.rr.com

Will be packing up after work today and heading down to Winter Haven FL for 63 CDV early tomorrow morning. It's a looong drive but might as well put the Car Hauler to use once in a while!  Anyone on the I-95 & I-4 route that needs say a windshield, engine block, TH transmission, etc, here's a slipping change for delivery...at least to an I-95 or I-4 exit!

Bumping this up for anyone along the I-95 & I-4 route to FL.

Hopefully after I retire from the State I can do more cross country trips and make it to more areas of the country and more often. Having a full time job prevents me from making many long trips like this!

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
