June 2013 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter Newsletter Posted

I have just completed and posted the June 2013 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter newsletter to our Newsletter Page.  You can also access it by clicking on June 2013 Newsletter

This newsletter includes my director's message, chapter updates, links to upcoming car related events, information on the upcoming Grand National in Boston including our Chapter Meet-Up, a new CLC Museum and Research Center Donations page, and a spotlight on my missing "Coupe DePooch".

In addition, as we continue to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 Cadillac, we turn our focus on the Fleetwood Sixty Special  this month and spotlight Tony Albarella's Cadillac.   You will also find more scans for the Sixty Special from the original 1963 Cadillac Brochure and Dealer Data Book.

I hope to have the next newsletter out mid to late July before heading out to the Grand National.

Be sure and check out our June Newsletter if you missed it. We feature Tony Albarella's beautiful 1963 Fleetwood Sixty Special this Month.   The July issue is tentatively scheduled to "hit the shelves" just before the start of the Boston Grand National!  I'm not exactly sure if I will do  separate July and August Issues or a combined July/August issue?  Either way the focus will be on the 63's and the Grand National!

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
