I have just completed and posted the May 2013 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter newsletter to our Newsletter Page. You can also access it by clicking on
May 2013 Newsletter
This newsletter includes my director's message, chapter updates, links to upcoming car related events around the nation, and information on the upcoming Grand National in Boston, and a lesson learned tech tip on installing tower hose clamps.
In addition, as we continue to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 Cadillac, we turn our focus on the Eldorado this month and spotlight Margaretha & Mano Forsman’s 1963 Eldorado Biarritz and its fascinating journey to Sweden. Mano has also been restoring his Eldorado the last few years and include some "in progress" pictures as well. You will also find more scans for the Eldorado from the original 1963 Cadillac Brochure and Dealer Data Book.
I hope to have the next newsletter out mid to late June, and spotlight either the Fleetwood 60 Special or the Park Avenue in our ongoing examination and celebration of all 1963 Body Styles.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
