Probably the Funnest Newsletter Ever

I'm working on the June Newsletter (hope to get it out while it is still June!) and having too much fun playing with Paint Shop and the pictures. One day when I get time I'm going to have to go back through these and just get a lot of large prints made!  Check out the 64 Eldo Picture below.... you will definitely see it again in the Newsletter:

Russ, Alternator amps was increased from 52 to 55 amps on A/C equipped and 75 series cars between 1963 and 1964. Most of us now run remanufactured alternators, such as the 60 amp Duralast 7122, that exceeds the original specs.

Tony, If you and others enjoy the 1964 Cadillac, you should definitely be a member of the Cadillac LaSalle Club right now! The July issue of the monthly award winning Self-Starter, which is "hitting shelves"...and mailboxes as we speak, spotlights the 1964 Cadillac model year and you will see many of our chapter members 1964 Cadillacs included.  ......... And, we will have pretty good coverage of the 1964 Fleetwood Eldorado in a day or so in our own Chapter Newsletter spotlighting another Chapter Members Cadillac.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
