September 2013 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter Newsletter Posted

I have just completed and posted the September 2013 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter newsletter to our Newsletter Page.  You can also access it by clicking on September 2013 Newsletter

This newsletter includes my director's message, chapter updates, information on the CLC Museum and Research Center, club shirt order information, links to upcoming car related events and the 2014 Grand National, and Tech Tip article on original batteries and battery cables and a surprising source for replacement spring-ring cables!

In addition, as we continue to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 Cadillac, we turn our focus on the Park Avenue Sedan DeVille this month and spotlight Jim Verraster's 2013 Grand National  winning 1963 Park Avenue.   You will also find more scans for the Park Avenue from the original 1963 Cadillac Brochure and Dealer Data Book.

I hope to have the next newsletter out mid to late October.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
