Bumping this.  The last piece I need to complete my interior restoration.  Attaches to the rear-most edge of the rear quarter trim panel.  It's a small stainless piece with one screw attaching it.  I only need the passenger side but will buy both if you have them.  I've seen them on Old's and Pontiac convertibles as well.  Should be the same for 63 and 64.

Have you contacted willigton Cadillac?  He has a 63 convert parts car.

These are either extremely rare or I just don't know where to look.  But....After more than 5 years of looking I finally found a set from a 1963 Pontiac P8 on ebay and scooped them up.

It really was a happy moment.  I can now say that my interior restoration is 100% complete!.  Done!

Now, on to restoring the engine compartment....

Congrats on the find!

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
