OK. It has been while since we had trivia and thought I would throw something at you out of my last Cadmium plating batch. I am always throwing things into these batches, sometimes just for kicks & grins. Well, here is a piece I just got back.

Name the part or describe where it goes for that elusive 1963/64 Cadillac Trivia Cigar!

Mark, I’m  reaching for that cigar… but first: Where does it go?

Bingo! It is the rear upper spherical (ball) joint stud attached to rear upper control yoke (arm) that in term attaches to differential. It is a big guy using a a  9/16"-18 top lock nut on the end.

MARK .... HAVE A CIGAR!!!

I like the vintage 1993 Boston t shirt.

Yep, picked that up at the 2013 CLC Grand National in Boston.

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
