Color Wiring Diagram - 1963 Series 62 Convertible, AC, AM/FM. Power WIndows, Power Seats

I've been working on a wiring diagram for my '63 Series 62 Convertible. I've merged diagrams from a bunch of sources including postings here and the Shop Manual. I also gained  info just by looking at my car. The diagram includes wires in generally correct colors, color and wire gauge (when I could find it) labels, connectors, and original bulb numbers.

It is useful to me, and I suspect others might find it useful too, so here it is. It prints best on 11 by 17 paper, but it is generally usable on letter size paper too.

This version does not incorporate the Autronic Eye, but I will add that sometime and post an update.

If you see any errors or have any suggestions, please let me know and I'll make an update.

I am not sure if this site reduces the resolution of images, but just in case, you can find the full-size high resolution image of the diagram here: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49974711807_bb276f2420_o.png

The link above will also always have the most updated version of the diagram.

p.s. I know I could have just bought the color diagram, but putting this together gave me a diagram (mostly) specific to my car, and it helped me see how everything is connected.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
