I have spent a few hours trying to get pump to pump fluid. The lines are all clear, The pump Is working as it should when the washer button is pushed. I have a spare wiper motor assembly which I have switched parts around with. The diaphragm is in good condition, The only idea I have at this point is that the seal around the valves is leaking. I tried to coat the seal with Vaseline but no difference.
Any ideas where to go next?
Does any body out there have any idea if the seal is available anywhere?

Once I get the rebuild kit installed, I'll let you know how I made out.

Wayne,
If it is the W/W pump piston itself, I also have a rebuilder who is great. Jason's contact is a great recommendation!

Yesterday I installed the windshield washer pump kit, I primed it and it worked! I did have to clear nozzles and replace the lines to them but all is working now.
Thanks all who contributed.

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
