1964 Cadillac Deville Neutral Safety switch and Oil Filter Housing Assembly

Hello, possibly looking a neutral safety switch for a 1964 Deville with the TH-400 and tilt steering.  Also, possibly looking for an oil filter housing assembly for a 1964 429 motor.  Starting to get info, prices, and parts ready for the springtime maintenance.  Thank you.

Michael, I have the oil filter assembly for you. If you have a NSS that is broken, I can usually repair them.

Please email me at russ@thecadishack.com

So I had a quick second to look at this.  I have power on the pink wire with the ignition on and nothing on the light green wire regardless of the shifter position.  The car will also start in gear.  Anything else to check?  Thanks

Thats the back up light wires, no need to do anything with them. I can usually repair the NSS if you send me pics to verify what is damaged.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
