I booked my Flight out to Milwaukee today and starting to get excited about the Grand National. I will be at the main host hotel June 21 - 28 and will be traveling along this time, but promised my wife Cheryl we would both fly out for the Las Vegas GN next year.
By now, most of you know I am a GN junkie and just love the experience. In the coming days, and weeks I will be posting more info here on the website and in our next newsletter so stay tuned. I also hope to post pictures from the event here in our website and Facebook Page.
For our 63/64 Cadillac Chapter members also going, please let me know so I can add you to our list of chapter members I will be putting together soon.
For those going, I will see you in Wisconsin in a couple of months!
Looking forward to attending this event and meeting some of you guys that attend I am in the Chicago west suburbs and not sure when I will get to one this close to home. Past 2 have been a struggle to wven attend local car shows so I so deserve this.
Wow! That's good and bad. Good in that you are so super close but bad in that the tours of the are (e.g. Harley Davidson Plant) will probably be old news for you!
I have to--its 15 minutes from my house---I have to see how much time I can sneak away from work--I never attended one before so I am excited, hoping for good weather
Hey Phil, Great to see you will be attending the GN. Looks like 4 of us there so far from the chapter - you, Me, Marty and Dwight. I look forward to visiting another new part of our great country and of course checking out all the cool Caddys and hanging out with you guys!!
I was just able to go on line and reserve from June 21-28, and will cancel my June 23-28 reservation. It looked like additional date range might be available.
Bottom line, if you want to reserve your room I would suggest doing it now. Jason.

I have noticed that after I drive for 5-10 miles or more and then shut off the car, it hesitates when I go to start? Anyone experience this before and if so, what was the fix?Continue

Many owners have reported oil leaks at the rear main seal even after replacing the seal, myself included. Recently Tony Lentini found a Serviceman bulletin published in February 1965 which details a…Continue

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
