Posting some information about the Fall Carolina Collector Auto Fest I just sent out to some of our Eastern NC CLC Region Members. If you are in or near North Carolina come join us Nov 9-11!

Hey guys,

Here’s a summary of info about the Carolina Collector Auto Fest (www.carolinacollectorautofest.com)  if interested in any of the events.

Event Hours:

Fri, Nov 9, 10am – 6pm   (Vendor Show & Car Corral – Jim Graham Building) Fri, Nov 9, 8pm  (Keith Hendson Show and Cadillac Cruise In)

Sat, Nov 10, 8am – 6pm (Vendor Show & Car Corral – Jim Graham Building, and Classic Car show in Dorton Arena)

Sun, Nov 11, 8am – 3pm (Vendor Show & Car Corral – Jim Graham Building, and Open Car show in Dorton Arena)

Vendor Show - Car Corral
The vendor show includes many national sellers and is inside the Jim Graham building with the car corral outside Jim Graham Building. If you have a car you want to put up for sale you might consider the car corral.  I’ve been going to the CCAF Vendor Show for many years now.  There are tons of parts, and tools and all sorts of cool car stuff!

Car Shows Sat, Nov 10 & Sun, Nov 11
The car show is inside Dorton Arena. Saturday, Nov 10 is the Classics Car show (1900-1973 cars). Sunday is the Open car show and will see many newer cars but also open to older cars.  I am registered for the both Car Shows and depending on your year Cadillac you can register for one or both shows. They do have awards for best Club Participation which if we showed up in force could walk away with.

Registration
Registration is $20 per car show now or $25 day of the show.  You can register by going to their main website at http://www.carolinacollectorautofest.com/ and clicking on the Registration tab to pull up the form.  Just fill in and mail to address on form.

Cadillac Cruise in and Keith Henderson/Elvis Show, Fri, Nov 9, 8pm
New for this year they have a Keith Henderson/Elvis Show in Dorton Arena with a Cadillac Cruise-In with Caddy’s inside the arena and on display for the show!  There is information on the CCAF website about the show hich you can also see here: http://carolinacollectorautofest.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2011/0...

Too far from Lithuania :)  But I would love to, cause "oldrides" are my passion.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
