Original seats had a crest on the center arm rest.  Does anybody know where I could embose a crest in new material for a reupolstry?

SMS Auto Fabric did mine (smsautofabrics.com). The product quality is excellent BUT it will take FOREVER to get your order so be prepared to wait if you order from them. If you already have your leather & just need a section embossed, they might do that for you. I bought leather, vinyl, & fabric from them 20 years ago to reupholster my car. My upholsterer cut sections to do the rear seat & the center arm rest and marked them on the underside for where to emboss them. I sent those sections back to SMS for embossing. I think the turnaround time for the embossing was not too bad. The end result was beautiful seats but it was quite a wait.

Kurt, your seats look great, and the crest just adds the next level of style. Can't wait until I get to the point of upholstery upgrades. Nice job

thank you!!  ses they did my door panels during covid. It was 2-3 years?

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
