Chris You have to raise the body of the car of course and from ether I disconnect shocks at bottom, unbolt control links (long arms from end of rear end to frame) at the frame leaving them attached to rear end, and unbolt the upper A arm where it bolts to body under carriage removing complete assembly as seen in this photo album: http://6364cadillac.ning.com/photo/albums/misc-rear-end-differentia...
I think I have some better pictures somewhere and will try find them and post or link to.
Jason.
Thanks, I borrowed the picture from Flickr and did a little photoshopping. Jason, thanks for the parts car and all your help getting it loaded up. I have to figure out how I'm going to drop that rear so I can repaint it. You might have to give me some tips.
Very Cool picture. Chris came down today with his grandfather to pick up the 64 convertible body. He's a real nice young man (only 23!), and has a great passion for Cadillacs! He also has a very cool personal page here on the site which you can see at http://6364cadillac.ning.com/profile/ChristopherCodd
I'll post more on his visit and the departure of the 64 Convertible later.
Jaosn.
Nice! Cool shading effect to the photo. Vent windows showing with the doors open give a sense of the windshield side profile.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
