Hi Logan,

I had to completely rebuild my entire brake system on my 1964 Coupe, Series 62.  I work alone and it took some time to replace everything (from booster, master and back).  I have a good contact in NJ who is spot on for rebuilds.  If you need any info., my email is ddibari56@gmail.com.  The booster was a challenge working alone, but it can be done.  Happy to help.

I should have core DM master cylinders and booster but need to be rebuilt. One of my projects is to go through, sort and see exactly what I have. For now I have been just digging into the bin until I find one for someone. I know I don't have anything I would trust to just bolt on and go.

Whats very interesting is that my 64 has the 63 Delco master in it! Someone swapped at some point.

I intend to completely overhaul the breaks sooner rather than later. Need to source a good, modern replacement for the 64 or a good rebuild period correct one from somewhere....

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
