Wife Cheryl just texted me this pic showing box with my exhaust from Classic Exhaust in Ohio that will be waiting for me when I get home from work. Looks like you can call that a Box Project! :-)

I went with the full stainless setup with the resonator. I believe it was Russ that described it well by saying it takes out the exhaust gurgle you hear out the back..or something like that!

The muffler shop told me that resonators were available but just removing the flowmasters made such a huge difference I wasn't sure if they were really necessary...I know that dual exhaust is a bit louder by default now I'm wondering if I should add them as well.

What's your thoughts??

That's funny. We are keeping Scott at Classic Exhaust busy these days! My friend Les Eastling of the Eastern NC CLC region just had his exhaust from them installed a few weeks back. He was very pleased.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
