My Exhaust Has Arrived

Wife Cheryl just texted me this pic showing box with my exhaust from Classic Exhaust in Ohio that will be waiting for me when I get home from work. Looks like you can call that a Box Project! :-)

Comment by Jason Edge on September 10, 2012 at 9:04pm: I went with the full stainless setup with the resonator. I believe it was Russ that described it well by saying it takes out the exhaust gurgle you hear out the back..or something like that!

Comment by Kevin Williams on September 10, 2012 at 8:54pm: The muffler shop told me that resonators were available but just removing the flowmasters made such a huge difference I wasn't sure if they were really necessary...I know that dual exhaust is a bit louder by default now I'm wondering if I should add them as well.

What's your thoughts??

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
