Comment by Jason Edge on July 20, 2013 at 8:26pm: Thanks Chris, I am very pleased. Paul does military models and this was a drastic change for him. He also said the old brittle plastic was hard to work with compared to the new plastics used on models today. He had only seen the outside from pictures, and was very pleased at the results. Of course the old models were not "exact" replicas not to mention this one had bucket seats. Maybe one day I'll put some original bucket seat in my CDV to match the model! LOL

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
