does anyone out there have any experience with seat foam replacement on a 63/64 Cadillac. I had my seats reupolstered many years ago in original leather/fabric and they still look great, but the foam/padding underneath has degradated and compressed to the point the seats look misshapend and are not real supportive when sitting on them. Has anyone had good luck with a replacement gas tank? I need to replace my gas tank in my 64 CDV and as I look around I see advertised replacement tanks that will work, but the fine print states that they are 4 gal less than the original tank. Cadi's aren't known for their fuel economy. Would like to find something with the same gallons. Anyone have any experiences to share? Thanks Kevin

Has anyone had any experience with refurbishing their dashboard. while reviewing the vendors website that is listed on the 63/64 website, it seems like a long and expensive proposition. I have a question. My 64 CDV is down for a complete paint and interior redo. When I disassembled the interior I found 4 hard rubber blocks under the front seat attachment bolts. Has anyone seen this before or did someone before me put these in to raise the height of the seat. I recently completed a complete engine rebuild on my 64 CDV. I have a continuing problem (both before and after the rebuild). When I am stuck in traffic and the car begins to run real hot, but not overheated, the car runs very rough and will stall out unless you are able to make it out to open road in which it will sputter a bit, but begin to run perfectly once the operating temp drop down a bit. My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
