I have got a flood of email, texts, about the 63 Eldo that recently bid up to $120,000 and thought I would share for those that have not seen it.
Here is the link: Click Here
My quick gut reaction: Pretty average under carriage and under hood, with a few minor blemishes (and very non original tires), but super nice overall. I did take a close look at the brake pedal for wear, and interior, trunk, and could see it being a true 38K mile car as advertised.
Here is a picture but you can see like 190 pictures at the link:

There was a '64 Eldo that recently went for $91,500. If nothing else, we can show these to our spouses when they complain we are spending too much on our cars, lol!

Or, you can tell them you are investing in their future in case you kick the bucket before they do!
Jason,
That is even better than Tony's answer!!!!!!!!!!

Is this a California emissions thing? I don't remember ever seeing this on a 63. https://bringatrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/IMG_2324-2-803...
Yes, that is at least part of the California closed ventilation system used on 1964 Cadillacs starting with VIN #057000. The other part was an orange painted non-vented oil filler cap. This car has a black cap so it could be a non-vented cap painted over black at some point, or a non-original cap. It is likely this was a California car since it has the air cleaner, tube, and valve cover for the closed system. I have pulled in at least 1 CA parts car over the years, maybe 2. At first I didn't know what I was looking at. If you can find a NOS orange CA cap it is worth some money.
See serviceman bulletin and example of orange cap below.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
