Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I will be mostly offline Dec 25 to 29 taking a short beach trip to the coast here in North Carolina.   The WiFi really sucks where we are going and instead of "5G" will be lucking to have 1/2G cell service!! LOL

I haven't gotten a lot done to Dino the past few weeks but did dip under it and install the Radiator Support to Frame Support Rod Lower Cradle Tie Bracket with gold cadmium plating a couple nights ago. I have been into heavy reorganizing my garage and parts buildings and every time I go to work on Dino I get busy with something else.

The away time will give me some time to catch up reading the last two issues of the Self-Starter. While I am not a huge 1970's fan, I have to say the January 2026  cover is drop dead gorgeous.   Always good to be able to have some "kick back reading time". I will try to pop in but again that 1/2G service might an issue!

Merry Christmas Jason!

Have a fun, relaxing trip!

Linda

Great time here on the coast. This was my 1 year 2 day old Yorkies Bandit & Scout first beach trip and they are loving it … so is their Pappy!

Jason,

You are one lucky dog (no pun intended).  Getting ready for 10 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow here in Upstate NY.  Wish I was there!!!!!

I'm glad someone is enjoying the weather!  Have fun puppies and pappy!

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
