I am in the process of removing the belt trim on the doors of my Fleetwood.  I need to find the rear door window stop location so that i can remove screws. Help.

Also, I am replacing the vent window gears.  Any suggestions before I take apart the mechanisms?.

Thank you.

I forgot to mention that I am looking for a rust free inner fender for the passenger side front fender'  Please let me know if anyone can fulfill this request.

Also, I have a 1964 passenger side front (rust free)  fender That the seller assured me was for a 1963.  I have no use for it.  Let me know if anyone is interested.  I can furnish you with photos.

Thank you

I have the inner fender for you, please send me an email; russ@thecadishack.com

Take the door panel off and the shop manual will point out the window stops.

I replied to your email.

Stephen, did you get my email?  I will put the part away if I dont hear back from you.

Stephen, Is it a fender off a Fleetwood or a Sedan DeVille with the holes in it for the trim ?

Dear Chris,

The right front fender is from a non-Fleetwood model.  There are no holes drilled for the "FLEETWOOD" script.  I'll take some photos tomorrow and will send them to you.

Dear Chris,

I purchased the fender at the Hershey swap meet this past October.  Somehow I forgot that it IS A FLEETWOOD FENDER.  It is drilled for the Fleetwood lettering.  That was my main reason for purchasing it for my 1963 Fleetwood.

I ran to my garage and took some photos.  Although there is surface rust, the metal is thick and with the exception of a spot on the bottom behind the wheel and tire, is dent free. Let me know if you need more.  I was in a hurry today.  I have to return tomorrow to look at the parts I need to replace.

I await your advice.

Dear Chris,

I am having trouble navigating this website.  I tried to respond to you before to inform you that the Fender is off a 64 Fleetwood.  I took some photos but need your e-mail to send them.  Send me an e-mail at SPechenik@gmail.com

Thanik you.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
