Good to the Last Drop!
I hope all of our US members had a fantastic July 4th!
I spent most of my day under the tired 63 Eldorado parts car getting ready to pull the engine. When I started draining the oil, it was so clear and clean I took a few pictures. This project car was basically abandoned 15 years ago with some work done, but interior long gone, and floor boards and other area rotting away, and some body damage from being just tossed around in a salvage yard where it was being stored. The oil was clear and no debris to the last drop! The transmission fluid was just crystal red clear. I will want to ride in the car this power train goes into!

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
