Does anyone have a picture of where the Transducer mounts. I removed my dash pad to try and figure out why when when i call for defrost the fan is blowing but nothing is coming out of vents anywhere and found the transducer hooked up but just laying behind the glove box. So I guess two questions. Mounting the transducer and help with the venting problem. Thanks

Larry, See picture below. Note that the defrost door is the one door in 64 with the Comfort Control System still controlled by a Bowden cable connected to the main dash switch. When you slide the defrost lever, the Boden cable moves the defrost door to route hot air from the floor ducts to the dash defrost duct or vice versa. The Transducer & Power Servo control the temp door which directs air through the outside AC evaporator or heater core. So, if your heater is working and you move the defrost control on the dash unit, it should move the defrost door and air blows out of top dash. If hot air is coming out bottom but then nothing when you move the lever, you might have something blocking the ducts up top, or might be disconnected, etc. Make sure that Bowden cable is connected to the door pin over on the air box to make the door move.
See picture below showing defroster door connection (where Bowden cable connects), defroster door (one off one on), power servo and transducer.
Thanks Jason that picture help a lot.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
