Thanks for the kind words Tony. I was surprised for sure. My car is no trailer queen. With the help of this great website I work on it myself. I try to keep it as original as possible but have made some modern improvements for drivability (which were pointed out in judging). Nevertheless, everything works. I guess it's good enough : )
Hey Kurt, Congrats on the well deserved recognition of a mighty fine 1963 Coupe de Ville. It was great to check out your Caddy and have you up to our Chapter Meet-Up. That is one incredible interior on that car and hope you don't mind if I share a few pictures below. I have also loaded a lot more to our Facebook Page in a photo album with the six 1963/64's at the GN. You can see the album by Clicking Here.
Here's a few of my favorites:
1st up is you and the 63 in matching outfits!
And what about that incredible interior!
And it was nice to hang out for a while during our Chapter Meet-Up
When I got home from work just now, there was a package on my doorstep. I thought "what is this? I am not expecting anything, mis-delivery?" No, my name is on the label. To my pleasant surprise, my car won 2nd place in the Grand National! I did not attend the awards banquet so I didn't know about this. It was my 1st Grand National so I really didn't know what to expect. I had a great time & met some great people (Jason, for one) and recommend attending to everyone. Next time I will take time off from work (If still working) and attend more events.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
