I am trying to get all of the cigarette lighters working in my 63 Coupe deVille.  The only two that don't work is the front drivers side and the back drivers side.  They are both missing the entire assemblies.  I have found the assemblies for the front tray and have wired it. The problem I have with it is that the former owner cut the wires in the dash when he removed the lighter assembly so all I have left are the three wire stubs. The wire assembly from the ashtray has a three prong male connector so I assume where the wire stubs are was once a three prong female connector.  I have attached a couple of photos showing the three prong male connector and a photo showing the three wire stubs coming from the dash.  Does anyone have a female connector that they would be interested in selling to me so that I can re-connect the wiring correctly?

The back seat lighter wiring is all intact it is just missing the lighter and assembly. Does anyone have a correct lighter assembly that they would be willing to sell?

Thanks for any help or advice anyone can give me.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
