Cornering Light Socket

I'm currently restoring this cornering light housing. Is the socket pressed in or is there a way to remove it without destroying and replacing it?

The lip is rolled over to swedge the socket in place.

Thanks for confirming that, Russ. I'll try and restore it with the socket still in. I'll be testing out some chrome paint and we'll see how it all turns out. In the meantime, I sanded it down to bare metal.

To resecure the socket I use a deep well socket to set the socket into. It supports the back of the housing. Then a punch to tap the rolled lip back into the housing.
