This has shown up recently. Thoiggt it was radio static. Got less when i pushed accel, sort of disappears, i heard it at dump when i got out one day, pulled off air cleaner. The video is kinda harsh because i hqd it very close to carb. You can hear when i tap accel rod, it quits. Its sounds loke a whistle. Any thoughts?

Also, at low speeds, it kind of is non existent, like slow crusin in town, this mainly happens on the road.
I had the exact same problem. It would come & go but seemed to be related to engine temperaure. Turns out it was an intake manifold gasket leak. The gaskets were the thin metal type. I replaced them with Best 14046E (https://vintagecarburetorsandgaskets.com/shop/intake-manifold-set-1...) which are thicker non-metal gasket material. Solved my problem.
Here's is the whistle. https://drive.google.com/file/d/10RgTbdSpvkc-5TbMoObfhO7NFzNmgHk8/v...

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
