Hi there, 

after a long time struggling with other issues, health, job and family I'm back on the track, 
working ob my 63 CdV.

Last week I put new brake shoes on front (Raybestos organic as mentioned to be the best for our cars).
Now I wanted to drive for the first time after the swap und had trouble getting the 
car out of my garage.
Drove only around the block realizing front right brake seems to be stuck / locked.

Maybe a spring broke or the brake cylinder is stuck, can't get the drum off. 
Can't hardly move the wheel at all. 
Any suggestions how to get it off? 
Front right is aftermarket still so no hole for adjusting or looking inside.

Are your brake hoses old? I had a similar problem a while back. Turns out it was the brake hoses. When brake hoses age, the rubber swells. The rubber under the crimp sleeve can't expand outward so it pinches off the inner diameter of the hose & then acts as a check valve. When you press the brake there is enough force to get brake fluid into the wheel cylinder but the return spring is not strong enough to push the fluid back resulting in a stuck brake. Usually it will eventully release. You can try cracking open the bleeder on that wheel if it is stuck.

Changed them 10 or 12 years ago, don't think it's the hoses, but will try

We discussed the problem with aftermarket brake drums, got some old stock from Jason and changed all drums that where out of round to old style but this one was ok.

Will try to break it free otherwise drilling holes into drums to reach the adjuster.
Thought there was maybe an idea how to do it a more convenient way or so...

First of all I would take everyone else's response first, but something that kinda happened to me on one of the brake drums is one of the plungers that goes into the wheel cylinder has walked its way up out of it's slot in the shoe and was pushing against the wrong spot.  I also found a clip had fallen inside and jammed up one of the springs. 

This doesn't help you get the drum off, but it's food for thought.  If you can't get the bleeder screw out, you might have to undo the soft line and hope that's enough relief to slide it off, if not, you might have to get a bit destructive as Sammy suggested.

UPDATE:
This time I was lucky, when taking the wheel off the brake drum became loose.
I changed cylinder and hose just to be safe. 
Everything else was just fine, no issues I could see.
Think it was the cylinder. Although changed it 3 or 4 years ago, maybe it was rusted inside.

Now hoping it will not get stuck again.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
