Window Frame removal
Has anyone removed the window frames from the doors. I want to get my frames re chromed and need to remove all windows, I did not see a "help" topic on this. Has anyone done this before? I would appreciate any information before I attempt to tackle this. I'm a novice mechanic at best.

Factory Shop Manual is your best friend.
You need to remove the upper stoppers of the windows, then lift the window a bit higher than usual limit, and you can open the screws which hold the chrom trims in place.

I looked in the manual and I did not see anything specific to that. I want to take the frames out also to get them re chrome.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
