Lower Grille remover 64 Conv.

I need to remove the lower portion of the front grille on my 64 conv.. I need to install the bottom clips that fasten to the top center section of the center bumper. I looked into the help section, and it looks like you can remove the lower grille section from the ends without taking everything apart. Is that correct? Any ideas?ThanksDominicSee More

Front End Wheel Hop

Hello GroupHas any one had a slight front end wheel shake at 40 to 45 mph? I had this before I resto mod my 64 Cadillac w/ a LS-3 & 4L65E transmission . We took the body off the frame and disassembled, sand blasted and painted the frame. I replaced ALL bushings and even put in new rear trailing arms. I have Kelsey Wire wheels on the car and many say that could be the issue. I went out and bought a set of steel wheels and new radial tires to eliminate and confusion. I still have this shake.…See More

Sorry, when I said the tail shaft housing could be removed with the transmission in the car, I was thinking, 63, I'm not sure about the 64, you'd need to check the manual.

Who rebuilds original AC  accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year ,  There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A    What  is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

'63 Eldorado trumpet horn + 2 standard horns restoration

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.

There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…

Here it is:

The main factor is the length of the ceramic insulator from the middle of the spark plug to the tip (where the spark happens)

The insulator…
