Hi,
I'm looking for an AC vacuum heater control valve with sensing unit for my 1964 60 S. Does a fellow member have one they would like to sell to me? There are a couple of NOS ones for sale on ebay for $250 each. Wondering if that is too much or are they rare and warrant that price point?. Please let me know.
Cheers
Jeff

You will not find anything new with the vacuum portion of it. The vacuum portion is a thermal valve. It turns the AC system on when the engine warms up a bit.
I do have a part # for a new heater control valve, but I am off to work. I will get it after work today when I am in my shop.
Thanks Russ. I appreciate your help.
The new part is a Murray 74612 part number. Found at Oriellys.
Thanks Russ. I'll follow up on that.
Cheers
Jeff

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
