Hi Dave,
Trying to help, but there is no audio/video attached to you discussion.

Let’s try this one!
Hi Dave,
I was able to play your short vide/audio this time and I don't hear anything unordinary with the normal vacuum pulled through the intake. It looks like you have a Carter carburetor on your 63. I have the Rochester 4 barrel on my 64. When you adjust the two air/fuel screws, does it adjust well? Make sure the carburetor is secure with the four nuts on the intake, but don't overdo it.
Dave,
By any chance, do you know a Randy Wallick in Rockford, IL? He just moved from NY back to Rockford where he grew up? A good friend of mine!

Thats normal. The carb is sucking in air through the primary side. The secondary side is not active until you get way into the throttle.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
