Thanks T&G 429, I'll see what I can find out. I did change all fuses shortly after I got the car, so I may need to track down the wiring Gremlin!

I think the — body fd - is the body feed fuse for the on always circuit so give that a test check

Best tool to be checking fuses with— is a 12v fuse and wire tester

Looks like a screw driver with a light in the handle and a ground pig tale

The light turns on when you have power from a source to let you know

Test both sides of a given fuse to test flow across the fuse

I think you are having an issue with the door jam switch

Remove it and inspect it for internal damage ( contacts  come apart internally )

The lights you are referring to is a circuit in the car that is —alway on - so it  will work any time the doors are open

Often when I had an issue with the interior lights not working as they should  the problem was the door jam switch messing up ( it brakes the on always  circuit )

The design is so very simple and fragile it is amazing they have worked as long as they have to me

I replaced mine with more modern door jam switches that I got at Napa (a  good selection)  as my switches kept causing me a problem knocking the on always circuit out too often

Any ideas of what fuse/circuit, the courtesy lights on door handles are connected to? Mine went out on my 63, and the back of bench also includes a manual switch to turn these on.
