Some of the GN guests are now arriving, and look to see many more tomorrow. Chapter member Tim Coy is here with his 63 Sedan, and Rob Leonard is here with his 4 Sedan DeVille. I have a suite on the 10th floor with a great view of Vegas Skyline and the parking lot that will be used for the car show. I've been posting a few pictures from around the Hotel on the CLC Facebook Group site at https://www.facebook.com/groups/cadillaclasalleclub/
Here is the night view from my Bedroom:

Note that the Chapter Meet-up has been moved to Suite 1010 located on the top floor of the Host Hotel. I upgraded to a suite which has a large table and living room area .... and a pretty decent view over the show field and Vegas.

2016 CLC Grand National Host Hotel
Suncoast Hotel & Casino

I am in full-on pack mode and getting ready for my 5:25am flight out of RDU to Vegas Sunday and just wanted to remind everyone that I will be posting pictures, videos, etc. to the CLC Facebook group at
I will also post updates, pictures of 63's and 64's, etc., here to our own GN page at www.2016GN.6364cadillac.com
Looking at the picture of the host hotel above that I captured last night with maps.google the hotel will have plenty of parking! The show field is to the far right and lower right.
I am hoping to get a room with a view overlooking the show field, however, the hotel parking lots are so stretched out, I will be using a zoom lens even if I do get a room on the show side! I did pick up a relatively cheap 4K sports video camera ... sort of like the go pros... and will try to get some interesting video.
Safe Travels for those traveling to Vegas.
Jason.

I will be posting pictures from the GN on the CLC Facebook Group.   I've been panning around the Suncoast via Google Earth, Suncoast Hotel promos, etc. and posted a few pictures to the hotel. Below is one showing the hotel in all its glory at night and another showing the pool and the Nevada landscape in the background.

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 12 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
